one thing i would really like for once to happen is that someone would remix one of my tracks. don't consider this as being a question from me to you, consider this as an opportunity for yourself to do something fun. i've done remixes several times myself (e.g. check out my remixes of eatme’s ‘energy’ and zzzra’s ‘mecanographie phase 2’ here on ebel) and i’ve found it quite fun to use and abuse other people’s work and to adapt it to my liking.
it's completely up to you what you do with it. off course i’ll provide all samples and tracks separately and in wav-format (this goes for the recent tunes, not my amiga-songs). the tunes that might be worth to remix according to me are ‘surfing on waveforms’, ‘t minus’ or ‘liquid pleasure’. i’ve got some tunes on facebook as well.
your version will be treated with mutual respect and gratitude: each time i use it your name will be mentioned as the remixing artist. each time you use it, my name has to be mentioned as the original artist.

Hi darksteppers! We're having a remix thingy at D-TRASH Records. And the samples are from CPUWAR, the band that founded the label back in the day. The remixes will go on an upcoming release of unheard CPUWAR material called "Technical Violence"!

Good luck, use the force. Send us some fucked up remixes. The kit even includes the original Fast Tracker XM file. When: Probably September, or October. Depends on our release schedule and whether we have stuff to put out between now and then (a few releases in the queue)
Who: Probably all good remixes will go on it, I'll let CPUWAR hear them and reserve the right to deny any that suck outright, best to give us something that rocks
What: It will be an online release, not a pressed CD - We are doing another disc as our yearly pressed CD from The M.E.M.O.R.Y Lab. But we will pimp it big time (hell it's CPUWAR!) and Brodie B57 is even onboard for doing the art for it
Why: Because it's CPUWAR and we got permission to release this EP of material from CPUWAR that we always had on our hard drive but always had to sit on
How: Download the samples. Use Fast Tracker if you have it, or else take the MP3s turn them into WAVS and cut out your samples. The links work I just tried them and it was fine
