Why not a SmthgSTEP Section...

i asked for adding genre's , zark and s-cape said they we're planning it for v 3.1.

And still no change..

and euh.. SmthgSTEP?? because of all the genre's step in it? drumstep , dubstep , darkstep , etc??

We'll see in 10-20 years time which 'judgement' history has on both genres. For now, dubstep is still the flavor of the month & dub has a history. Genres which are for 75% defined by 2 presets of a plugin (Massive: Brutal elektro 1 & 2) don't tend to stick around for decades. ;)

Dubstep is become totaly different than dub that's a fact... But it's still the same tempo with the same beat construction.

Dub have a longer history that's true but dubstep/uk garage exist since the early 2000 so It's now more than 10 years old, in 10/20 years it would be 30years old...

And some basslines in dubstep are the most complicated synthese ever made for bassmusics.... There is not only massive!!! Btw massive is one of best vst synth.

And if you like dub but you never heard some good dubstep trackz, go take a look to the monkey dub releases they are trying to push more roots into the dubstep and it soundz very nice...
