For this edition we decided to invite some of the electro stars of the future, who today are already taking the electro scene by storm. They will be accompanied by Belgium’s leading forces. One of the headliners is Don Rimini from France. Don Rimini is beyond any doubt one of the most loved artists by the Belgian electro public. His performances are always a unique experience. His sets at a.o. Les Ardentes, Dour and I Love Techno 2009 are still very memorable. His impeccable class and flawless technique is always guaranteed to make the masses move. His monthly online dj-sets are also very popular with the electro heads worldwide. He is furthermore a talented producer. Just check out his new EP "Nlarge Your Party", the follow-up to the much acclaimed ep’s "Time to Panic", "Absolutely Rap" and "Kick n' Run" which gathered amazing feedback and great success among both listeners and the media. The Ep showcases more mature and accomplished production work, yet it still retains the Don Rimini unique sound signature that rapidly propelled him into the spotlight: in your face beats, energetic electro sounds, colourful synths and dynamic rhythms. Another storming talent on this edition’s line-up is Milan producer Rocco Rampino, aka Congorock, who next to Crookers and Bloody Beetroots is also part of the extremely talented electro wizards from Italy. He is definitely one of last year’s revelations and has a refreshing approach to electro. He made his debut with the “Runark” ep, a ghetto-bass influenced piece of house, released on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold label last year. His track ‘Babylon’ was one of the anthems of Tomorrowland’s mainstage and Pukkelpop’s Boiler room and is played by all the big electro djs out there. It’s also hugely supported by Switch on Studio Brussels who will feature the track on the next Switch compilation and are giving it extensive radio play. Next to that he has also remixed another one of those huge summer anthems ‘One’ by the Swedish House mafia. Beats of Love also invites Mumbaï Sience who have been rocking the dance-floors this summer thanks to their solid productions on the green doctor’s Lektroluv label. Since their signing they are following in the footsteps of their colleagues The Subs and Sound of Stereo with two very successful releases: The Woof EP and Ancova EP. A third one is on the way and will be released in mid October also on Lektroluv. You can have a taste of what’s to come in this 3-minute Youtube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHOv9g8qItA. Those who witnessed their performance at the Lektroluv night at Ten Days Off already know they are the bomb! Ed & Kim hardly need an introduction. They have been making waves in the Belgian club-scene for years. Be it on Switch (Studio Brussels) or their own Breakdown concept, the numerous other parties and festivals or their three overwhelming appearances at Pukkelpop, they know how to spread the electro vibes like no other. As does Spacid resident who has been doing just that since the famous Body 2 Body parties in Culture Club and continues his mission on Beats of Love since the start. Image

Beats of Love revisited! And so we enjoyed another great edition of Beats of Love. Were welcomed our visitors with a nice & exclusive Beats of Love pin. So this is how things went down. Spacid warmed up the room and gradually built up the atmosphere in his own typical style. Mumbai Science took over the controls and played a somewhat harder electro set than their own productions but the crowd really enjoyed it. Next up was the man of the night, Congorock, whose typical sound of exotic ragga electro made the dance-floor explode several times. When Don Rimini stepped up, it was clear that he is a favorite of the Belgian crowd and it's safe to say that the feeling is mutual. His strong set made the electricity fly through the air and got Ed & Kim in a great mood. They finished the night with a very eclectic set, even dropping a dubstep bomb here and there, with great response from our public. If you want to relive some moments or in case you missed it this time ... here are the pictures of the night!
