hmm... I do understand that if someone releases his own full album (s)he'd want to dedicate a new thread to it rather than posting it only (!) in a list of new albums. You are the threadstarter of this general new release thread and some people might think that all the reactions posted there are about your release and not theirs or anyone elses. It's a good idea to make some sort of list of releases but just in one thread started by someone isn't enough imo.
