Looking for noise parties
General discussionI'm just some nutty guy, looking for some live performances of experimental music genres, like harsh noise, ambient, noise rock, breakcore,... you know, the weird stuff... The only problem is, I can't find any shows on the whole bloody internet.. I live in Antwerpen, so if anybody knows of any gig/show/performance, please tell me!!

No. Problem is that these genres aren't really crowd-pleasers, so there aren't a lot of parties just around that. Wich is too bad.
Anyways, I was thinking about maybe organising a noise-party myself. With some artist from Ebel (cf. ELFENKOMMANDO, Distreality, Trimetrick, Zymosis, etc.) But I think this will have to wait for at least a few months...

Check the site of CC Luchtbal, www.ccluchtbal.org, most chance of seeing ambient-noise-martial-industrial there. You just missed Fear Falls Burning there, and so did I :) For the rest, go to Holland; we just played Noise Central Fest in Utrecht, I think this is your cup of tea! Do a search for 'Kletter.nu' and/or "k-raa-k" Eventually, check our site www.forgreatergood.be for the odd concert :)

Noise in brussels you have de student (café close to Stlucas) with all sorts of noisenights a bit further you have de squat 123 where they have noise every week in antwerpen i thought sheldapen programmed more then the common music.. dont know here the mail for the 123 squat, i think u can ask em to keep u informed.. bokalroyal@gmail.com
the big noize scene is liege cheque in the agenda of "la zone" is a nice place, there allot of experimentale noize party.......... noize is the futur.................

Thank you very much for the replies :-) I will keep ccluchtbal in mind and scheldapen does indeed seem to play more than average music.. ^^
The netherlands isn't really an optoion (for now at least), as I'm still a student and none of my friends is into the experimental music scene, so I'd have to go alone. So it'd have o be something not to far away... I'll check up on Brussels as I'm studying in Mechelen and a freind of mine studies in Leuven, so I could spend the night close enough to Brusels.. ElPietro : if you'd organise it close enough, I might come ^^
