Hello , I have just acquired a groove box Korg Electribe M and I would like to know if it's possible to synchronize that with Reason 2.5 automatically ?

              Thanks in advance :D

i don't think that will be possible. reason only allows you to use hardware for controlling. an option would be to run reason via rewire on cubase sx (or someother rewire-supportive sequencer).

hi, you can connect a midi keyboard to your computer and play in reason, even mess with the modulation and pitch wheel... but MAN, reason SUCKS if you want to work with midi.... and connecting grooveboxes to a computer is more difficult than just a midikeyboard.... i suggest you start using samplitude, or cubase if you just want to play.... those applications are MADE for it !

so i'm sorry...but i'm affraid that it won't work well in reason....... but tell me, what kind of Soundcard do you have ? a nice one with no latency ? like SBLIVE audigy ? extigy ? ...a Dman ? just wondering ? its very important if you want to use midi,

friendly regards, jeroen

Thanx for your response... Okay in reason that's impossible but I haven't Cubase so I synchronize manually for the moment. My soundcard is a SB Live audigy5.1 , why??

well; you are using a nice soundcard.. when you work with cheap soundcards, thjen you get alot of latency . ..that means, if you play on your midi keyboard, it will take a few milliseconds, or maybe even a fucking second before you hear sounds coming out of your computer... so there is an ennoying delay....

but you wont notice much of that! good... well...go search Cubase...and start recording in multitrack.... its FUN !
