Hello! I am a beginner and have some questions :
can somebody - who has a synth KORG Karma - help me to use it perfectly ? It is my first synth and I encounter some problems to create a song. Of course this would be subject to payment...
can somebody recommend a computer programme to me : recording studio or "mix table" to be able to record various instruments coming from a same source (the Korg karma particularly)
I am interested in creating a band or meet people who have the same passion as I have.
I thank you very much for your time and hope you will be able to help me!!

Same question lol ;)
hello!
sorry for the silence... I am interested in electronic music. (my references and favorite groups are Front 242, Kraftwerk, Chemical Brothers - but I also like some rock inlfuences) My principal aim is to find people interested in music who could really appreciate the work I do - people with whom I could share friendly moments, creating music.
For the moment I have a Korg Karma, an MC303 and I will buy a computer to manage the Korg. But as I know quite nothing concerning computer programme, I am looking for infos.
thanks in advance for your replys !

I don't recommend a programme computer but just I recommend an excellent sound card with an excellent line in , not a sound blaster live if you will a perfect sound.
I'd also recommend buying a good soundcard, perhaps one with some good midi in/outs. I also have an mc303 and i use my midi-controller (keyboard with midi or usb) to play in some tunes. If you have to use the mc303 just manually, it's a big piece of shit, because of the great number of controls, functions etc.
If you want a good music programme to control your midi hardware, you can use cubase or sonar. you can find cubase sx here: www.hot.ee/stsux/
The advantage of controlling your midi hardware with you computer is that it's easier to use, you can cut & copy, everything is more visual etc...
But be warned: midi soundcards are expensive. you cannot use a cheap standard soundcard for working with midi-controllers. A friend of mine tried it, and he had a second latency if he played a note on the controller. That means you hear the sound a second later
A midi controller will cost you a minimum of 150, but i think it's worth the investment. It has assignable rotary buttons etc...
or you can just stay working with your mc303 the normal way
