I'm not a master in mastering and I need some tips ! I use Floops 8 and there is no real Mastering Effect! How do the poeple with it? What do you use to Masterize, I heard about Ozone but don't have it and too expensive! Could you give me some usefull guidance pleaze?
I'm not that good at mastering myself it's all about compression on each channel on the master channel you'll need to put fruity limiter (make sure your levels are never higher than -2)
About compression ; i can't give you tips cause i suck at compression
I use already Limiter - Compressor - Eq - Revrbz - Slow Delayz I kill the Ultra-Low freq and make some gapz and bumpz in da mid and highz I try to Compress with 3 bandz...and make som testz... But I'm really fucking blurred while making it! What dou you use as Loudnessizer and Spacializerz or otherz usefull effects?
what does reverb and delay have to do with mastering?
and what do you mean with loudnissizer and spacializer?
For me mastering is improving the sound of a track... When my track is composed I put my reverbz and delayz and then compressor and Eq...that's my way to "masterize" but I know it's not the right way!
a Loudnessizer is an effect that give you a fat general loudness (commercial) feeling... a Spacializer is to expand your soundz in a 3D space....
yeah haha that's normal that you first filter and only when the song is finished you'll master the whole shit. But reverb and delay have nothing to do with mastering , than you could say you are mastering with distortion or something like that :p
loudnessizer --> blood overdrive
a spacializer is nothing you really really need imo..
I firstly make the mix as good as I can, using good samples sounds is something I learned, it must be good from the beginning later I cut with eq's the try to separate the frequencies, make some panning.... Try using the Fl peak controller and FL soundgoodizer on the master channel... or a vst called sumo... compression is still kind of mistery, but I think you could work on your track later with a comp to improve it ( I still have to try this....) then testing...
My 2 cents....

say whaaaat?!
soundgoodizer on the master channel?
Dude that makes all your EQ work for nothing , soundgoodizer pulls out the subbass in a sound , so if you'll do that on every sound in a track , it 'll be overloaded on sub basses
You can use soundgoodizer for drums and basses , NOT for everything.
mastering is really technical actually , it's not something you learn on yourself. If you know people who can master a track properly , try asking them to show you and explain you how it needs to be done..
for sure, I guess I just try to make it sounds as good as I can, but that's obvious I'll never manage a real pro quality.
Drop your ears on my latest track, tell me how it sounds, I'd like you to, I mean I'm here on ebel also to learn so... tips are really welcome.... as I say each time...
