At first I wasn't gonna go, because the line-up is horrible imo. But now that the weather is so hot, I'm starting to get festival fever... and I think I do gonna go the whole weekend, just for the fun, the massive amounts of alcohol and to be the banana of the festival :)
Anyone else going - if not for the music, maybe for the fun, like I do?

hey not that horrible imo:
soulfly, korn, motorhead(ace o spade rules man)
agnostic front ( old days reminder :p)
ain't that bad ...
cannot do it but would if i had the dough dude
i'm going on saturday... old nostalgia with Guns and Roses... once missed their concert about 15 years ago because Matt Sorum (or was it still the other one?) broke his arm. Have to see it cuz' Guns was where my metal love started with (followed by Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica and Annihilator) The Datsuns, Soulfly, Korn and Jon Oliva (co-founder Savatage)aren't that bad either.
Fuck, just read Korn isn't coming!!! Sheit
The reason I don't like the line-up is because I've already seen most of the bands which I think are good at least twice... was hoping for something different now... and all the rest is nothing to my likin'...but hey, let's just have fun and drink beer and maybe who knows we'll discover something new and fresh. Btw really looking forward to Soilwork, what a party that will be. Marquee gigs are always better than Main Stage gigs...too bad In Flames plays on the mainstage....but already saw them 5 or 6 times so... :) Yeah Agnostic Front is great, always great fun. And finally I'll get to see Satyricon which is a good thing too. But in general, the line-up is not to my personal liking at all...but who gives a fuck heh :)
not so bad :)
I really wanna see Lacuna Coil... havent had the chance to see them !
But anyway they are at Grasspop almost every year so :p

I've seen them 5 or 6 years ago @ Eurorock, and the werent all that good... They were still a young band, so maybe they got better live...
My Dying Bride is comming, was a big fan of em loooooong ago. Are they still any good? lost sight of al those metal bands... Strange how lots of (electronic)people have a metal-history :)
I saw Lacuna Coil too I think 7 years ago, with their first album I think... wasn't impressed at all. But I like their song "circle". I guess they've improved now.
I'm just glad I'll finally get to see Satyricon, a legendary band.
Shameless advertising (for a work buddy) comin' up :)
