Image Anyone having a Novation Remote Zero Midi Controller?

Or heard something about it?

It looks hot... but is it good too?

Novation is mostly more expensive than Behringer, M-Audio, Edirol stuff... but generally speaking... is it worth the higher price?

is next on my list. :D :D automapping is great, is like the BCR2000 of Behringer but with the great LCD display. And free Bass station VST worth about 150€ !!! I sold my Behringer for this.

yeah it caught my attenrion when it was realeased a while back. i'll wait for further development of the automap concept though (by novation or others) cause i have a bcr2000 and i think the the remote SL (zero or keyboard versions) have some shortcomings: * not all knobs are endless, making the automap less useful * faders are really short and not motorized * at least the 1st batch had bad assembly problems to the drumpads, there was a big factory recall.

still, it's a sexy thing and might suite your needs better than mine.

btw, there's a lot of talk about it on the ableton forum.

doesn't novation have a controller based around the (very awsome) Vstation as well? I only have a roland midi keyboard and a evolution uc16 but for me that combination works fine. It does look very cool though 8)

Image The X-Station, the controller + soundcard & synth. same as the K-station synth. The Xiosynth is the new little brother of it with more synth options but less knobs & no faders.

I've read about the automap problems on the ableton forum... but as it seems novation support sends you a patchfix by mail on request...

that remote zero looks very neat, and so does that x-station. if the x-station would have pads (not that I know where they should put them, it's packed as it is) or an extra stereo out, it'd be perfect for what I need.

Now I think I'll go for a seperate audio interface
