I created this topic and the one linked below to make us MODS lives easier regarding the song descriptions. Please feel to copy/paste the text below:
Hello!
Thank you very much for uploading your music to our community.
Nevertheless, we cannot validate your song because the song description is really weak. Please make an effort on this. To get an idea about what we expect from a decent song description, please follow this link:

Hoping for your comprehension, we say thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Your Electrobel Mods
Hello!
These lines aim to remind you, that you have one or more songs pending on electrobel for quite some time. As we stated in a first message, your music hasn't been validated, because of an unsufficient song description.
To get an idea about what we expect from a decent song description, please follow this link:
http://www.electrobel.be/forum/5/5937,song_description_and_titles_,0
Please make an effort on this and your music will be validated within 48 hours. Alternatively the song(s) in question will be blocked for good. Then you need to reupload it/them one more time to get released.
Hoping for your comprehension, we say thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Your Electrobel Mods
And finally a blocking message (feel free to adapt the time lapse)
Sorry mate.
Your song has been blocked because of a lacking song description. We sent you several messages regarding this issue, but you showed no reaction during the last 3 weeks.
Feel free to reupload your music with a decent description.
Regards.
of course this is open for discussion. But please keep it among mods... so please not on the public forum.
Also, if a user hasn't changed his description within one week remove the track, I say.. If you dont log in at least one week after you've posted a track, then that means you dont really give a fuck bout ebel, just want your crap online..
I think we can get stricter on some points
And why not insert a min. limit of 150 characters for a description (automatically..)
yeah, strict is ok, but not too much please... harry i didnt know you were so hard man ;) i d say lets give em 15 days and 75 character...???
Bah its not that strict he ket, 7 days... allé lets say 10 days and bout the 150 characters, it was just an example..
But there is still toooooo much crap on this site, i think if we get stricter on some points, that would make a natural balance between crap and my music, hehehe really just kidding there eey' ;)
I fear if we set a character limit, people do even write more bullshit than they do now
vanessa uploaded a track description; Vanessa Tesla Castration EP out 30/12/2008
Its accepted by administrator.. Or we do something coherent, a rule we follow or else we just do like before, no description = ok maybe administrator should leave us to it, as no question is ever answered on this website by zark/admin/whatever i think we can still do stuff ourselves, as accepting tracks or asking the posters to put a full description..

true
OK, we really need A solution here and plz some feedback from Zark or Admin or whoever is in charge here. This is a no go that that many tracks are pending for a lack of description. I'm in favor for some standardised obliged description. For example:
No minimal #words and you got a basic but solid description. Again I don't know shit about programming so I have no idea on how hard this is to program. Butpretty please with cherry on top some word of someone who does know/can change stuff.
it seems most of users dont take the time to put a description for their songs, i d like to have an automatic system, minimum 40 letters in the description, even if some cool dudes will write "hahaaaaaaaaaa thaaaaaaaaats a neeeeew traaaaack" or stuffz like that it will still be easier to moderate, now we have to send a mail each time some users upload a track... And users should be warned when they register, and another reminder when they upload a track...
