I just received my akai mpd 24 drumpad (yippie!) and now I want some serious controlling ofcourse without much searching. So what I basicly want to do are the next things:
I've tried sampler in live but that didn't seem to work as I wanted to, I tried FPC in FL but that's just all the samples routed to one efxchannel and I've tried NI Kontakt but that just got its own efx and is a hell of a setup.
Anyone knows an easy way of doing this?

- When I hit a drumpad (= note), I want a sample being OR triggered (for loops) OR played and sendto the desired efxchannel
- Every drumpadbutton (16) is assigned to one sample which is routed to another efxchannel.

Anyone knows an easy way of doing this? try drummachine of ableton live 7. it's a sampler especcially for drumpads, which means that you acutally see the pads on your screen, and that every pad has it's own EFX-channel. if you have one machine-drum-channel, you can flip it open, so you can see all the different pad-channels (with each its own EFX-channel). on top of that, you can just drag clips from your ableton-session into the drummachine; it will stay warped and editable.
Just had a quick look at it and this seems exactly what I was looking for. Cheers firefrog!
