So, recently i've worked with some fellow musicians, recording beatbox and other stuff in ableton on a mac . i found it rather hard to cut up and paste the wav. samples like i would do in FL or with a fruityslicer, which automaticaly slices on transient points. Now, normaly i would just instal a slicer of taste ( fl slicer) and get going, but the frutyslicer isn't suported on mac. My question is, are there any good plugins for this on mac or indeed an internal ableton slicer that is easy to use? thanks chaps. cheerios

if you right click your audio file you can click 'slice to new midi track' , make sure your file is warped right. when doing this ableton will make a new sampler track with all the slices on seperate midi notes
some other handy tips I was really happy to discover : you can drag one project into another using the ableton browser and you can drag clips from clipview to arrangement view and back really handy!
