like his name tells you ... this mc luvs distortion efx, and expresses his often obsolete feelings of living in a distorted reality...( wow now everywan knows) approches electro i, ndustrial dub, tec and soundtrack, somethimes accompagnated with well fitted vocal. his work is a journey into the darker and rawer style, mooved by the need to purge inside the darker area's of our soul. dare the confrontation, and fly to absolom . :))

feindbild emerged in the late 90's as a project of Hans Thomassen, who combines the power of harsh electronics with complex rhythm structures to form an audio assault of noise and elektro-industrial. Bombastic rhythms are coupled with heavilly tweaked synths to create an atmosphere of distorted aggression that shows no mercy in its relentless attack on your senses. Feindbild creates paranoid, intense and threatened atmospheres incorporating elements of powernoise and (analogue) electronics. After years of activism in the electronic underground network of industrial music, Feindbild reached a larger audience by putting out his contribution for the Angst-compilation on one of the genre's most respected labels, Spectre Records, where he fits in just fine amongst mimetic, hypnoskull, okk-ulth, empusae, kraken, p.a.l, 5f_55, iszoloscope, this morn' omina, and all the other big names that make their apperance on the CD. but the thing i like most 'bout him, well, that's the fact that he's my m8

Let's talk about ELFENKOMMANDO...

Started out on ebel under the name ' restless legs ', then ' agathokless ' , but due to getting 2 much fanmail from death metal folks he changed into ELFENKOMMANDO....

his ' repertoire ' is impressive.... Over 100 tracks, covering styles like ambient, indus, breakcore, noise and experimental stuff...

his strenghts lie in a great ability to mutilate ( yes mutilate ) sounds, something I lovingly call ' wonderfull sound-destruction '

he makes hard pounding indus tracks, as well as long dark crunchy soundscapes, armed with a mic and a minidisc recorder he has done some great field recordings and attacked them with great distortion...

Somehow his taste shows resemblance to what i like and the music he makes allways fires me up and motivates me to produce !!!

Therefor I am very proud to be able to share the stage with him and play a set together with him at Langweiligkeit - festival at den Haag on 3 november 8)

Dont know if i am qualified for, but i want review Brandtkalk...

Since i know him, approximately 5 or 6 years ago now, his very personal music style has no stop to grow. He feel the real sense of music, i mean by "real" that he know that music is like a live form who want to exist independantly of his "creator". Thats why i think, when i see his actual composition (i use "see" cause im speaking of his Reason files), what you hear from Brandtkalk is a real live form, a kind of artificial intelligence... Lot of people are composing in a classical way, we can differ 2 big flows : those who want control the music (as i am) and those who want discover music, passing by random etc... Brandtkalk go uper those concept : he create a very basis structure, and all the composition are generate by this basis structur. Difficult to explain exactly, but he make music "orienté objet", that mean he dont control stuff like velocity, drywet of an effect, notes, etc... His music does it by itself, with the very large panel of Reason gate possibilities (and i still dont understand how the f**k he does it ^^)...

Very dark music, always colored by black, red or grey sounds (thats a metafore) He can turn around a theme over a lot of track, focalise on the feeling more than the rules of creating music, you got something brilliant who is undefineble. Thats a man who joint tribal sensation with the science of electronic music, and as i know, he is the only one here. Its justice than he is the top50man here, and thats not a story of appreciation, thats a story of musicos respect. I mean, thats really rare that i put a Brandtkalk song at home, because im unable to put song like this for a sound background at home. His music need power of watts, heat of people, screams of listener, the color of dance the floor. If not, thats a real sacrilège...

Not my favorite on ebel, but thats the biggest musician for me here. I will never quite his evolution, and i hope you feel that if one man can find a new style of music here, he is.

Three years (something around that) that i'm listening to his kassidation. That MAD album a friend gave me once with noticed on it : Kassidation - Electro Acid - Sexperimental.

It was something like a revelation to me... I was just going out on parties for 1 year and only knew "drum n bass" parties" but when i received that CD in my hands and listened to it in my bedroom ... WAW !

Especially protozen neutrosoft (slower version sorry :p) and that scartales ! Or even that Saturday Man ! Or That Schizorganicage (Super califra gilis ... Mary poppins !...hum !)

Well all of this to say that the music of that guy has definitely changed my point of view on music and when i've got a sad trip with electronic music, I just listen to this complete album and everything just go fine after that.

But let's talk "with more details" on your music ... There's that kind of completely strange atmosphere like danny elfman does it ... with a melange of aphex twin for the beats and the arrangements and always a good melody that stays in the head... All of this in a pure electronic genre which fitted really well with the Enjoy apocalypse mind there was some years ago in bxl ...

Honestly I think i'm one of your biggest fan but that's enough you've had enough compliment, I'm sure you're already red like a tomato on your chair :D

Roachbugincan's music is superb! so simple yet so effective... mostly electronica or experimental, but you could best file it under bugmusic. wrong melodies, pretty melodies, funny beats.. music for the drunk man i'd say.. my personal favorites are when marty was there, cricket sieasta and dollass.. but you should listen to them all :)) maximum length of is songs is 2min i think.. (better a short good track then a 6min long boring track..) I first met him when i was 13. together we went to massive attack and ninja tune parties, we discovered dnb afterwards, aphex.. Thanks to him im making electronic music Roach still uses fruityloops 3 i think :p great music, not worth explaining, just listen..................!

mmkay, i'll review an ebel-artists that hasn't been in the spotlight very much, which i regret.

my review goes to JOKKE! everytime he puts one of his new track online, i wet myself of joy :p his minimal is sooo deep, glitchy, cracky and soundign so very professional!! when he had to play on lektrofest, he had lots of problems with his laptop right on the moment that he had to play. and because those problems just seemed not to get solved i said: "hey, why don't u play with my computer? i have almost ALL your tracks on my hd" :D

be sure to keep your eyes open for him, cause he makes guud shiiit!!!

he starting electronic muzik composition since something like 4 or 5 years ago. One of the first song i've really liked is "sunny day"; beautiful and cute melodie in this one. The beauty of the melodie makes the main feeling of it's work today, but at the beginning he has tried some more hard music as breakcore ( goin' mad ) and electro, less melodik but now it's finished ( aparently). After all this time, makes a lot of beautiful and melancholic tracks, it's time for him to release something :D

Well , all this text to say that you've to listen to these tracks, that's obliged :p

My turn goes to Elkhor.

A genious in the ways of sound and sound manipulation. This fella goes from classical stuff to the harsh (And I mean very harsh) breakcore. Every track he makes have a very unique "Elkhor" sound and makes all his tracks so much more then unique alone. A sence of soul and love for his equipment is heard.

Alongside that he also has a great personality and he never stopped amazing me with what he shared with me in the ways of producing the most bizzare sounds.

Elkhor mon ami, and semi teachor lol My hats off to you !
