can anybody tell me if Firefox and IE can work on one pc - btw: what is firefox. Is it an alternative for IE? looked on the site a little, is it a safe download? will it replace IE? will i have to choose at any time whether i want to start firefox or IE?

didn't have time to fix the bug (busy day + working at party in antwerp)

Firefox is a browser, just like Internet Explorer. With the exception that FireFox is an opensource browser, and that it respects w3c standards :)
You can off course use IE and Firefox on the same machine. I personnaly recommend to everyone i know the usage of Firefox. Very little exploits, faster, no spywares, skins, plugin system, etc...
