Help neededwhos going to the musik messe this year? never been before, thinking to go but chained like a dog and without any bank cards :))
anyone plans to go? maybe it would be nice to go together in same car + book hotel to save costs.

I've already been there ... nice place for tryouts... and seeing musical pornstars...
open for general public only on Weekend... and then the Messepark is flooded of people...
most exposers dont sell anything... some do but only the last day...
especially small asian producers sell their stuff... but dont expect a guitar or bass sold for 50 or 100 Euros being a bargain... my experience is that they are exactly worth these 50 or 100 Euros... and dont expect much from an instrument at that price... my blue plexiglass 5 string bassguitar has become a lamp after a few months ;)
another worry... as sales are not allowed ... ask the seller for a selling note... it might happen that a security guy doesnt let you out with you new gear... I met people to whonm this actually happened... so one advice dont wait til the last minutes of the show to leave... coz if one security guy doesnt let you leave with the instru... you dont have much possibilities ... except waiting for shift change... or trying to find another exit.. or arrange a meeting with the seller later at night outside the exposition area... ;)
Most definately Musikmesse is worth the visit. you will most certainly enjoy it. its a very big thing... but it isnt musicians paradise either...
