[mix] I-Witness - The Classics (a decade of dnb '98-'08) - Part 1

Call me nostalgic, but dnb used to be more one sound. This is no wobble, deep, neuro, darkstep, techstep or whatever. This is drum&bass : raw but funky, grimey but catchy. I wanted to use tunes from 1998 till 2008, to show there's still some continuity in sound. ( there were too much tunes I wanted to include, so a second part of this mix will follow )

Since I started to buy vinyl in 2002, there are a lot of tracks inside of that period. I know not all of the tracks inside are considered as true classics by everyone, but this is a selection of my all-time favourites that reflects my passion for drum&bass back then and it still does now :!:

Respect to the Belgian veterans still pushing the sounds (Wontime, Speedy, DConvict, Murdock, etc.) Shouts to the Leuven crew (especially The Nitrous), seQ (credits for the suggestion for combo 30>31) and of course everyone who has been supporting us.
