Ebel Streaming Radio
General discussionI think it would be nice to have a streaming EBEL radio , with only Ebel releases.Modalities can be discussed , just random choice or per genre etc...This way one would 'discover' better some hidden jewels that don't get in to a list or ranking.

I second that. But then users have to decide if they want their work to be "aired" or not. Would be easy to put an option in your settings which lets you decide wether you agree on this or not. But, seeing Ebel is a place for promotion and help, I don't think much users would mind. I wouldn't. :) Go BpOlar! ;)
mmmh, I don't think we have to pay for streaming audio that is not copyright protected. I guess it's a good idea to have such a thing but then we first need to have a more decent quality system to rate songs because not a single user/person will listen to this radio if from time to time seriously bad quality of music plays.
Radio is for accompagnement and if music disturbs you from time to time you will just put it of (and never put it on again)

I don't think that a Streaming Radio should only play tracks according the voting system.... these systems will always be subjective . The Radio should be there to discover songs from Ebel that deserve more attention than what they get now. I also think you should have this radio in different genres ... why not invite members to make their own virtual 'radio program' ...
You can subscribe to podcasts on a per user and per genre basis. This is more or less what you guys want I suppose. Just check it out (it's the subscribe to genre/user buttons you find all over the place)
OK but these podcasts are not very sophisticated .. you can go to a genre & 'play all'....thats not the Streaming Radio like you can see on other portals . Grtz

yes, but it would resurface some old songs that are really cool but are now scratching the surface.
