terratec phase 28
Help neededhello all,
i d like to buy the terratec phase 28, but i d first wanna know if it s a good stuff ( it s good for me cause it hav lot of output what i d really love to make sound go out;).
i allready know it s really cheap for what it is but if any of u hav it could he tell me if it s good to buy it or better to wait, earn money n buy some rme or so( in like one year)...
also if u guys know where i can buy this sound card cause i can t find any shop in belgium that s selling it...

I've recently bought the phase 28. And indeed, you can't buy it in a shop in Belgium. I ordered it online and all went well. It's a good card with indeed lots of outs. The sound is good. The only thing that worries me is the asio... I've bought this card at about the same time I've installed a new pc (p4 3.4ghz, xp sp2) and allthough I should be able to run lots more than with my previous pc (p4 2.4ghz, xp sp1, audigy) it isn't the case. I've got problems from 65% cpu and above whereas I could go up to 90% with my previous setup. Not sure if it's the soundcard or my pc (anyone a solution?) And I've tried asio4all, same problem... But nevertheless: it is a great soundcard especially at that price! (160€).
