General discussionUse of Special Chars in username would be nice :) MySQL supports it, so it mustn't be 2 hard.
This should become a very usefull site if enough ppl register :) keep up the good work, i'll help ya bugtracking a little...

Thnx... but it's not for mysql ;) it's for the FS ... i actually create a personal directory named after the nickname .. I know i could name it after the user id or something, but in case of a database crash (you never know) we'd still have something to work with.
But some characters that aren't allowed (like '-' or '_') shouldn't give any problems with the fs as far as i know, but still aren't allowed...

It was also for a matter of readability and 'memory' ... E_PHONK .. EPHONK .. E-Phonk .. etc.. you know what i mean ?
But i guess i could allow those two ...
