Electrobel Launch Party
EventsOkay, well i think it's getting time to organise the first electrobel party.
My idea for an electrobel party (which might not happen for the first time, but this is my vision)
'Easy Listening' Concerts from 1pm till 7pm.
Basically the idea would be (for the entrance fee) something like 8€ (day + night) or 10€ (night only).. which would be a way of 'motivating' them pplez to come check out the concerts during the day .... Actually my real idea was to do 'reversed entry-fees' ... meaning entrance is free, but the exit is damaged. and it would be inversed proportionnally to the time spent ... so if you go in for free at 13h .. you'd pay more if u left at 14 than if yo left at 15... it's a wicked idea but would never work :D
brainstorm anyone ?
Location : ideally brussels .. 'cos it's in the middle ... Date : when we ready i guess :D
So what we need :
- Somewhere to do this thing .. if we do 'lounge' type concerts, having a dance-floor only room would be a problem i think.
- LineUp, if you think you have enough music and your ready to go live and WANT to play live, contact us. Same goes for deejayz.
Any helping is more than welcome, the total rush would be that some of you are motivated enough to be full time members of the electrobel-party organising cru ... :D

The idea of tickets at 8 for day + night is good, but people will not buy your night tickets at 10 anymore. For example if I wanna come at night, I buy the ticket at 8 for night and day, and get at night anyway.

Nice idea ... don't disregard Gent or Antwerp as venues as well ... Would be nice to have mixture of new , inexperienced people [like myself ;-)] alongside +/- more established Undergrounders ... How about the visuals ?

All propositions are welcome. I'm from brussels myself and don't know many venues outside of it. :) And we're looking for a pretty 'special' place :) Enough room to setup instruments... enough places to sit down and yet be able to let everyone loose @ night ... might even have to consider two venues (one for the concerts and one for the 'after-concerts' :) )
How about Recyclart as location ? Room for 450 ppl .... can be "modularized" [read : different music-rooms]
And it definetely is special ... haven't been there myself but only heard good things ...

money is not an issue .. well i mean, it is off course, but it's just a matter of investment, getting enough money at first, even though we'll get it back after ... it's just getting that first amount that is troublesome ... which is way we have to unite financially too.
Recyclart is a cool place ... might be a bit expensive though, dunno... and don't know if they'll let us use it during the day ...
I can get a power soundsystem for free (or almost free), thru a friend of mine. Need to find a room ...
