REMIXING EBEL ARTISTS
General discussionOk, so there allready is a thread concerning this topic, but it got some out of topic replies and is a bit messy, so here is a clean thread for this subject...
I copy pasted the most relevant info from the newsletter to point out what the intention is...

Recently the remix section on Electrobel was cleaned and remixes containing copyrighted materials are no longer allowed from now on, as announced on the forum....
To build up a new, copyright-free remix section we believe it would be interesting to launch the idea of remixing other Electrobel artists. This thread was created to discuss this some more and to provide a place where you guys can write down if you want to be remixed or remix yourself.
This is interesting because like this we get a remix section that is completely legal, and it gives us all the opportunity to hear what other people do with our music, and to give our own impression of other peoples tracks.....
Also like this people can get to know tracks they didn’t hear before and artists they didn’t really know before, broadening our musical horizons....

I think if you offer your music to be remixed, you should offer to the potential remixers a (zipped) folder containing the main loops & sounds being used on the original as single files ( pref .wav); You can also add midi lines /sequences ( this really opens up a can of worms). Good recent exsamples are Psy_aviah , Code 314 etc .... & off course lorsen(^ù^)BpOlar OOO™. Remixing a exsisting track , just using the track itself , is not a real challenge IMO.

yep, good ideas over here, but be carrefull with track cleaning! cuz I see you blok my remix of a melodikpinpon song, and of course no copyrighted material inside, check more than one time before block a song

n(^ù^)° likes that. Almost every tune under nEUROLAND can be remixed. One is already remixed by BpOlar and lorsen. I did the same with their remixes. The lorsen(^ù^)BpOlar OOO™ band was created on purpose… (almost all the songs of this project can be remixed also…). Let's enjoy ! n(^ù^)°
