Reason 4 troubleshooting
Help neededReason 4 rulez... especially the Thor Synth... but also the whole new sequencing thing... nevertheless when things get more sophisticated, they do also tend to get more complicated.
Tutorials as on youtube help alot... but sometimes it's pretty hard to find the right one and then its pretty cool to have gentle ebellers to come up in with quick rescue... thats why I come up with this.
But no solution without problem.

Mine... right now... is the following:
There was this stretching tool in the sequencer in Reason 3 ... (to halfen or double the speed, one had to right click and set to 50% or 200%, same thing to change the note a halftone or more) I desperatly cannot find this in Reason 4 anymore... Anyone there to tell me where this functions have gone??? :)

I cant switch the line anymore in the ebel forums... do I have to put in
tags? EDIT: Hmm... appearently not... then [br] tags may be? No... hm... what a shizzle...
EDIT: Found the problem its du to safari 3. With OPERA everything works fine again!
anyone who knows of a tool to speed things up in reason, to create an acceleration. it kinde sucks if i just do 8ths 16ths 32ths. in other words, can you change the bpm during a song in an automation or so???
i was hoping they added such a thing in 4, but didn't find it so far

Jup thats a new feature you do have in reason ! you can automate the BPM now I controle it mostly with a modulation wheel on keyboard.. prety fun ^^

i've switched over to 4 back in octobre. in this version, they totally rebuilt the sequencer, so it's kinda normal that u have to seek for things in the beginning. but i don't use the reason-sequencer (only to record automations), since i rewire ableton for that. the biggest flaw is that they still don't support incoming streaming audio, so you could patch it thru the reason-efx.i don't understand why, because it still has the tool to wire rebirth into it.
yeah indeed thats very stupid of proppelerhead they want to look like software who doesn't need vst and vsti but they do ^^ Thats the only reason I started learning ableton to rewire... The 2 togheter and a buch of vst's is the ultimate set up for me... many possibilitys
to liquidbass: im not at home now, but in R4 check the 'windiws' option then choose the tool window the half or double speed is there... and for the bpm automation herrrm i think its just a right click on the bpm button... will check tonight if i got time
