Distant Fires Burning - Messierobjekten available in E-shop
General discussionHey, Distant Fires Burning – Messierobjekten, is available in the E-shop. We're asking 10,00 EUR per CD (all charges included). It is my attempt at learning how to make a CD. I wrote all the songs, produced and engineered them, mixed them, mastered them, all by myself. I compiled the CD and did the overall mastering of the CD. It is pressed on 300 copy's by Multidisc (www.multidisc.be) and has stunning artwork by my good friend Hans Bloemmen!
I couldn't have done it without the help of you guys. All your comments and tips have helped me a lot. So I wanna give that back! The profits of every CD sold through the E-shop go straight to Electrobel!!
It's an album in the ambient-electronic style. My inspiration are the deep-sky objects that are visible with an aperture telescope, catalogued by French astronomer Charles Messier in the 18th Century. It's my soundtrack for watching the stars, but you can also see it as my attempt to bring distant objects / concepts closer to me. By any means it was a learning process for me, so my goal was not to make Big Money with it!

BTW all these tracks have been on Electrobel, only difference is that they're mastered now for CD replication! Messier 1 and the Medina remix are still free downloads here!
Most of the music I knew already ,,,but still it's a very well balanced album,,, with of course very good ambient music. BUT What is really an eye-opener for me is the High standard of the graphics presentation and also the truly professional way this dogipak has been printed & finished.I'm working in the Graphic industry for donkey years already ... this is amazing for such a small print-run.

The cover was designed by Hans Bloemmen. And man I'm so happy he did this for me! T
he small print-run but high quality is thanx to Thom from Multidisc! Not to spam you guys with it. But i'm very pleased by the way they all handled this.

Putting up this thread again AND taking the chance to let you all know That the 110th copy has been sold at my site site this week! :D I dunno how the CD is doing here (I'll have to ask Zark that, But I think I'll let em be with the massive work on V3)!
