wich is the best one, akai mpd24 or korg pad control? i dont need much possibilities and banks, maybe a mpd16 could be enough, but i'd like to a/b the pad quality with akai and korg. something like a roland octopad would have been nice but i dont need the sounds, nor i can send cc changes with pots or stuff.
any experience welcome
Im Having lots of fun with my padKontrol: easy to use and good quality, and the illuminated pads beat the akai easily ^^

are the lights useful on the pads? what are they for?
Most reviews seem to say that the pads of the akai mpd16 are pretty much crap and those of the korg padkontrol are superb. The mpd24 has a whole lot of other controler options. If you just need pads I'd go for the korg.
Maudio has the trigger finger, which got good revieuws. It also has some pots and faders.

Hell, yes!
They have two states: triggers for actions they are litten, triggers for notes, they just lit up when hit!
And besides that: Looking gorgeous is overly useful! :P
