kan er mij iemand zeggen hoe ge die latency buffer ofzo ( bij fl wasda sample size buffer bij audio options ) insteld bij CUBASE SX3 want nu kraakt het constant en loopt het nie vlot en das bescheten!

Could someone please tell me how to configure the latency buffer or sumtin like that in CUBASE SX 3 ( in FL it was the sample size buffer wich I had to increase to get rid of the crackle and the unsmooth playing )

why are 50% of the questions asked on this site actually stuff everyone can look up in their manual... as always: RTFM but anyways here goes...

in cubase SX3 select DEvice Set-up from the Devices Menu and select VST Audiobay here you can set the correct driver for your audiocard and if you click on expert you can adjust some latency (I guess... as I use Nuendo which is very similar, so...)

(best of all read page 41 to 46 of your cubase manual for precise settings, cause it depends on Mac or PC, asio MMe or directX and so on...)

SamDevos gave a link to the steinberg manual in pdf ...

Try installing asio4all as audio-driver

no need if he got a real soundcard with asio, and he didn't mention it. Anyway, even with asio4all he'd need to access the devices section of cubase to set the buffer :)

Try to read other posts before giving an answer ^^ try to keep things clean here ;)

or Device Setup / VST Multimedia and there select correct audiodriver :D

Heb heel veel dingen geprobeerd maar hij blijft hangen, cpu staat zeer hoog ik denk niet dat het aan pc ligt: pentium 4 320 met 2 gig ram en realtek geluidskaartje, cheap on board pci. heb al vanalles geprobeerd bij : asio multimedia drivers en expert opties en buffergrootte detecteren enzo mr tblijft laggen.... Iemand nog een idee want dit is echt ongelooflijk cut!

check out terratec or the latest soundblaster Xfi very good 4 low price

En gaat dan het probleem opgelost zijn, wnr ik dus een nieuwe geludiskaart koop. ( ik zou me een m audio kopen, goe idee? )
