don't buy those cheap turntables! they are weak and you'll quickly have to buy new ones.I'm looking for turntables as well, and it looks it's preferable to buy some technics even if its ultra-expensive, they will last much longer (until you die) and so you can sell them back for a good price when you don't want them anymore.

PS : if someone wants to sell just one (2nd hand), i'm soooo interrested!

indeed check this site, heard some people about it and they're satisfied, it's the original technics only cheaper than here in belgium :)

If you're thinking of buying decks, take into account that the Vestax PDX-2000 costs as much as the Technics SL1200 or SL1210, and that they're way superior to the Technics...

i'm still using my dads technics :)

first mk2's :) it's like over 25y old :)

and u know what, still works and looks like a brand new one ;)

if u just take care of them, they'll last ;) so, buy second hand, but be carefull on the quality, and don't hesitate to bargain the price because they don't look too healthy. Also u should know that u can send them to technics for a "checkup" and as i heard it's not THAT expensive and they freshen it up a bit .. if anyone has more info :)
