the idea has been around for a long time and there have been some good implementations, but let's face it: todays touchpads don't provide us with the functionality we require.
this little demonstrative movie from Apple has given me high hopes though! Just imagine the creative freedom it could bring along for music creation!

yeahh nice !! i saw another thing too, an asian guy in Seoul he was drawing with this screen and a kind of sand on it, very strange but very beautifull too ( i lost the link sorry)... guy's i got a screen touch ... and a d like too change it with a tft, someone want to make a deal?? :p

he wasnt drawing on a tft but on a projector with sand :) no technologies involved :) just a plain old light and sand :)

arf thks for the info!i think that for music it only will be a fun gadget and nothing more.the problem is you can't replace the hands on feeling by a screen.maybe somehow they figure out a system to use it properly.who knows what they are going to invent ey.for visual works this is the bomb
icteder, it's surely the future of live fx control... as an evolution of the kaoss pad but with possibilities extended.
