why did you get such a low score ?

22% of jury rating and 30% of public rating ...

guess i'll have to listen to the other tracks curious

Two members of the jury think we used electronic or drumsounds that don't fit in time; passed.

You can vote the whole week for the public score (untill next thursday) ... The score of the jury counts for 30%, so the band with the largest mail-box wins.

YO People! Let's support Ebel Artists!!!!

I really like this song... and I don't agree with the way some people of the Demopoll PROFESSIONAL JURY consider electronic music...

Is this professionalism:

*...alleen vind ik de electronica wat overdreven. Iets eenvoudiger lijkt mij de boodschap. "Don't get carried away by that new set of samples or virtual synth", zoals Winston Churchill altijd zei.

Dear "professional jury"

Is Monolite judged for being electro-pop, or for their musical skills??? I think MONOLITE rocks big time!!! I find the comments of this professional jury pretty unprofessionnal, because they seem to prefer commercial songs that sound the same way as hundred other TOP50-Chartbreaker-Songs to innovative electronic sounds. Is this the way you judge musicians that use unconventionnal sounds?

IS ELECTRONICA A CRIME, Jo Bogaert? How do beats have to sound, Bart?

And since when does Aldi sell samplers? (If they do they are certainly CULT!!!) :D

Seriously guys I'm pretty disappointed of your comments. If you really have something to say in music business, I have the impression that I should produce a cheap belgian Britney Spears alike... At least I would be sure of your support! $$$$$$$$ Am I right? :P

Members of MArvelas in Demopoll? 8o That's a bit undeserved competition, they already got somewhat of a name.

Can't open the songs here. Dang firewall.

beeps,

thanks for the support! really appreciate it

I think the jury has a point (dutch translation) when they talk about the soundz. they could have been better. But like you guys says; it's a demo - so it shouldn't be important. Most people think electronic artist have all the instruments or plug-ins and recordingpossibilities to make a worldrecord. So mostly those musicians have to proof theirselfs harder.

The possitive side of this poll is that we got a few gigs and booker that was interested in our band.

i like em .. they give a whole lo-fi / darkwave feel to the track...

putting a clean drumset in there would cheer things up a lot.

anyway, it's all a matter of taste init ?

Hmmm...when the finalists get played on stubru, there is usually a huge degradation in quality, so it sounds more like a Lo-fi tape recording anyway. I have no idea why.

However, that the jury is biased, is well known.
