Kinky Star needs your help
General discussionKinky Star, a non-profit independent recordlabel based in Ghent, working as a vzw has currently been shut down by the IRS (dunno the belgian name for it in english, but you get the picture).
Music like 'tHof van Commerce, Vive la Féte and Barbie Bangkok would not exist if it wasn't for Kinky Star giving them a chance, so if you can find any appreciation for these guys follow these links and sign the petition:

I have to be honest here, but if you read between the lines (in the Dutch text anyway), it seems like they either didn't do all their required paperwork or didn't pay all their fees and whatnot. There's a whack of vzw's in Gent, it's hard to believe they are being targeted.
If it turns out they didn't bring some paperwork or monetary things in order, no amount of petitions will change that.
I'll still sign it, but the whole of that explanation is just so...blurry...
