In theory it's possible I guess .... but I would stay on Tiger if I was you ... leopard is more for dual core intel macs ... You know the golden rule ... if it works ... don't try to fix it

it works. i've installed leopard on an old powermac g4 and it works without any problem.it's worth the try, given the many improvements in leopard. but if you mean installing leopard with the installation disc that came with your iMac, i can't tell for shure. try it out, if it isn't possible, it just won't install so there should be no risk

No he asked to install 10.4 before and to finish I kept that ...I believe that leopard would work less indeed on this model.
if you have an G4 based machine stay away from leopard ! stay with tiger 10,4 its much more better voor audio ! am aware of apple machines hard and software !greets from falcon030 btw youre osx leopard that came with youre imac will not work on youre g4 powerbook ! they maDe the osx software dvd that came with youre machine only installeby on your Imac ! if you wanna try leopard you need the version that is selled apart and that is an dual layer dvd of 7,8 gb and works on every osx machine from g4 to the mac pro !s
