Off topic: It's not becouse one focusses on making music for games that he will never perform again. It's still making music. Milanese will most likely maintain his sound, wether or not making music for planet µ or videogames. Don't forget most video game soundtracks get released to.

And lets not forget Amon Tobin's awesome-o album for Splinter Cell chaos theory. Sure he didn't perform for some time but after his time in solitude for the game he was back on the road. Even DJ Hidden made the soundtrack for a video game and plenty other artists too :)

No, but if you program on a daily basis under contract, your boss probably doesn't take the 'hey, I'm leaving now to take the plane to play somewhere and get smashed; I'll be back in 2-3 days!'. Probably more intensive.

So he won't be doing anymore gigging.
