Well, it's your right to decide this, but I think what you say is unfair to say the least. Did you forget ebel gave you the chance to promote your music for 3 years, giving people the chance to get to know your stuff and all...

No fairness? What's that all about... Does the fact that people don't allways agree with your point of view mean that there is no fairness?

No contact between Zark and mods? I for one have allways had fast answers from Zark if I needed them, no problems there....

And for the stoned wanna be producers... That's a sad little minded argument dude... This site is a forum for beginning artists and experienced artists aswell, so there will be great tracks on ebel and tracks that need a lot of work, but I thought ebel was about listening and commenting, giving eachother advice and inspiration, sometimes workin together and so on...

If u want to leave ebel, no problem, it's your decision, but don't go around insulting again, caus it's your decision and yours alone...

As for the concerts and it allways being who chats the most that plays ... please... I got my first offer to play on an ebel event some 6 months ago(couldn't make it then, was my 30th birthday), back then I was not as active as now so... Now I can play at den haag... I think it's a bit logical if u promote yourself actively and spend serious time listening to other artists ( important ) that u get chances to play... And dude, people like Zark and Jemenfish do try to give people who didn't play yet a fair chance...

I for one will never forget that ebel gave me a chance to show my stuff to the world, to be liked or disliked, up to the people listening....

Whatever reasons u decided this, don't go pointing fingers around, and wanna be producers....

the greatness of a person can be judged by the respect he shows for others...

While I can see where you are coming from and agree with some of your sentiments, this is very wrong.

Both 25/10 and 28/10 were chosen by a programmer who has NO personal contact with electrobel but handpicked what he liked through a compilation cd I made.

The people playing 14/10 and 20/10 for the electronica contest were picked through a voting system (X/10); Anyone of my organisation was invited and the only ones that voted having any prior meetings with electrobel members was Zark (representing visual project Narcomediavision) and me. And I don't let my votes on such things depend on who pays me the most beers ;)

I really dont understand on wath you base your speach, even if i can feel it (if not i dont answer). Ebel is open, it means that nobody can stop your ambition (if you have good one, based on human respect) and it mean that nobody will come and take your hand, speaking at your place for go to the ground... Well, its really a self-made community men !

You are waiting that Zark organize your futur succes ? Here, you just have a chance to do it yourself, thats all.

I feel fear in your words, fear to be not reconize, not heard, not listening, not understanding. But well, the only common point in all of this is...you. You choose wath is ebel for you, dont do the inverse men ! Thats just impossible that ebel choose at your place, because ebel as no king, no hierarchy, no alone voice. Its a co-mmu-ni-ty.

people outside brussel cant just drive to bxl to hear what the gigs are about,and chit chat some more to be on the gig playin;i dide'nt mean i woulde'nt drive all the way to play;

so selfishness of some people decided it for me what to do,and be honost;the line ups are always ment for the same poeple,which is a real bummer for a organisation that throw party's;they gone milk the cow until he falls over

if i hear my entourance talkin about my music,they are mostly counterwise to e-bel comments,i managed to get real contacts now,and yeah call me selfish in that....and sorry for all the hard words,but better yet think about how i feel for once,after putting my soul into this e-bel bazaaar;many told me it would turn out to nada,and it did,so i pity those with less technical bagage and less talent;

since i dont smoke,my own organisation has mutch more better worked out plans,that e-bel has in its lifetime,and again jemenifish big up for you,who actualy are(i hope)unpartial,and motivated to promote some artists;

i agree that the presence and communication with zark isnt omni present at some times ..but since he steped back ...people have been taking responsability and it made us advance ...

I can follow your concerns about most gigs being in BXl, that's why you don't see me asking to play at central, caus on weeknights for me going up and down to brussels ( even if i work there ) is impossible.... But I feel confident gigs will spread... I'll try to do my best to promote it where I live now...

And yes, your technical bagage seems good ( based on sound quality of your tracks ) , but you're not the only one.. I'm quite proud of myself actually, specially my latest creations, one has to evolve, but I don't like it that someone spits on people who just start out and have lots to learn...We all started like that remember ;-)

And don't forget you just quit smokin as youy said some time ago, so where u one of those stoned wanna-be producers yourself then ?

I could. Honestly, I'm pretty certain I could get medium-sized locations for trying an electrobel event. But we saw in Ghent that hardly anyone from Brussels wants to move to come over. So I would fear for it's success.

That's one of the reasons I thought doing those events in The Netherlands was cool; To expand a bit, because there will be a lot of ebel.nl members. But I just don't know where to start in 'Flanders'. And I have the same problem with Je m'en fish in Flanders sometimes, people there are just different than the Brussels-based crowd (not meaning ebel musicians; The crowd)

If anybody want to play at café central...he have to ask, we say always yes, because we dont have to exclude wathever. Just keeping a look about number of liver and musical coherence between the players. If its always the same people, thats because they say "i want play" or someone say "he have to play". Better soluton to give ?

You come with problems, accusations, putting ebel on the garbage without one concrete exemple, without one concrete solution. Thats just auto-persuasion. Wath is the stuff you cant face off ?? You ask for promotion, that's what we do by offering you a place at café central but hey sorry there's so much people on this website ! I can't send a private message to everybody : "hey do you want to play at café central ?" That's why we are making threads on the forum and the people which goes to the forum can add them to the line up as soon as it corresponds to the café (no breakcore for exemple)

See the next gigs on november, i don't know personally firefrog or 101sonic, they asked for playing and they are on the line up !

And dude, sorry we are not many people to organize these events and as soon as you want something on another place than bxl, organize it then !

What we do there is for the e-bel community and we're not touching a penny of what we're doing !!! Everything goes to the e-bel community.

that was a cool initiatif,i dont want to sound like the dark side of the moon,i'm just saying if ya depend on all the guys with a big mouth,who dare askin to play live,its gone be a milked out cow in no time,i'm a shy guy,who actualy let him hear when i'm mad,and i'm mad i never got a chance to play,and i asked frequintly;

i bought all sort of equipment to play live,and now some other people took initiatif outside e-bel,and see how that goes so smooth,makes me decide this is friendspolitics,
