General discussionMymymy, 30 new songs today 25 yesterday!!!
a year ago, you were certain to have your new song on the new entries list for about two or three weeks... nowadays you should be glad if it stays there for 5 days! New songs will never be able to reach the altitude of the established ones.... unless it's superb quality or one with a lot of fuzz about (number of comments). And yes, that's a sad thing for all of us. New songs dissapear into nothingness in no time.
Some members already have 30 songs on electrobel and i never even had noticed them around!!! (And I'm here every day...)
It's an evolution we can't stop and "resistance is futile" :D but all those fresh chickens on the electrobel market should realise that pouring all their new songs onto the site in three weeks time does no good to their songs.
Electrobel is getting heavy by succes!
More members is good, perfect, but it has it's side-fx.
Zark, how many new members have registered since the first ebelparties? Do you have a graphic about that (sure you have one, you keep scores bout everything i guess :D )
Read this on the wall, a hint by Zark: playlist add random songs then just fill in the amount of days you need catching up on and eventually limit with only the styles you want.
Anyway, I'm not complaining here, just making a point. Wanna add something? Suggestions to make? Got some ideas but want to hear some of yours first. Go ahead!!!

Some people just make something real quick and put it online, I tend to not do that anymore cuz I did that too and yeah if everyone does that 30 songs a day is pretty rough in that manner. :D
omg!! thank you for this post reaman... :! if we cant stop this by ourself maybe its time to introduce some new limits? hard to say that.... but its even harder to see what is happening now

I'm in for the "only 1 song a week/2weeks" thingie. When I post something I want people to hear it and to comment it so you can improve your skills and listen to others comments, but its not possible anymore with that amount of posting, unfinished songs and stuff.... I'm here also twice a day and I try to listen and comment as many songs as possible but just cant take dem all anymore :) well, for the rest , big up !
Lately, I sent a small word to ZARK asking him, after having looked at the evolution of the site a little, if what I observed were normal. Normal it answered me, it is as the number of members it increases too. I think that each one among us who places songs makes it with a same aim, i.e., to make hear its music, to let know that a concert is made... For my, I leave do not make any more. The only way that I have to make me hear it is like this. I think that if there are users more and more, logically it y will have more and more songs and consequently it is true that unquestionable old site are likely not to be the stars of the gate more... I am personally not to limit anything for another reason still, more members equalizes more people who come as a visitor. Because it is well there that bottom wounds. It is necessary to make publicity around oneself, on the Net... you think frankly that ZARK is moved to open three new gates to limit the numbers of artists or songs? Thus a little see what is made aillor. I think that you will return. :)) ?(
same opinion as rf 061992 limiting the members to post more than one song a week? wtf?! completely ridiculous
i dont think the new members or the ones not posting that much of their music should be limited. i suggest you limit those who have more than 25-30 songs instead, not the newbies.

imagine the french portal in a year or five... 6 times as much people.
not to mention the chinese portal zarkiboy will probably open soon X(
