actually you'll probably dislike any program you start to work with ....

you have to stick with it, and once you start to know how to use it properly, you'll start to like it .

all the programs look the same. if you dislike FL and Reason, you'll dislike every program.

do you like making music, actually ?

can you be more precise about what you don't like in those softs?

is it about the GUI, the programming mode, the complexity, the possibilities,...?

Point the problem, and we'll tell you where to find the solutions!!

Try only VSTi'z then or buy yourself a piece of hardware... i can understand you dislike a particular sound, but not the program itself... do you know how to load a sample, how to edit a wave from an oscillator, how to use a cutoff filter?

although,reason is a fast tool ,for creating;

it needs some courage and patients,to get a hold of it;

and i agree,with all of you,if you dont have the patients for reason;

i censairly doubt,you will learn other software,dont want to demotivate you,but its just realety;

its always a case of,who your teacher is,and what means you have

try a blokfluit :p i mean: if you even find what you're looking for in reason...o mai god!!! especially reason3! i don't know FL, i only know that the first time i saw it, i uninstalled it :p maybe i didn't like the cheap sounds of that version back then (i speak about 4 years ago). but now i got reason, i feel like i really have endless possibilities!

firefrog, feel the same thing for FL Studio... endless possibilities (if you have some good additional VSTplugins - 2 or 3 really suffice)

could be very possible, but euh ... nah, i won't begin to work with yet another software-packet, cause it asks time to understand new software + it is all cool, till i have to play live.. i don't think playing live with 3 or 4 different softwares will be very easy and comfortable ;) now with ableton live and reason, it goes very well, cause within ableton live i can control reason.
