do you know why? the sound of my first note sounds only after having made a loop. its verry disturbing. 8(
2nd problem but not important i cant fix my fruity into a litle window.
i have a question about fruity 6. where i can get it and is it possible to use it together with cubase... sincha
to xfreyr: probably because u use cracked synth's or fx i have that too with the KorgLegacy which I, yes I admit, STOLE from the internet (but I later deleted it because of Xfreyr's problem ) So I dont think its really a Fruity 'bug'... 8o
wwsincchaw :
you can use it with cubas ... fruity has a 'vst' that installs in cubase.
in cubase you load the fruity vst and you have fruity loaded within cubase. it syncs to the clock and bpm.
i have the one with the serial thingie...also from the internet...and sometimes when i hit the play button it doesn't start right away...it takes like a second to start...problem that i didn't have with my beloved cracked 5 :D
edit: when i'll be famous and rich :) then i'll buy the software :)
I bought all this software and I have the same problem. The first note of my ms20 plug in won't play, unless it's a loop. I have this problem in fl5 and fl6. If I include the drumatic3 plugin in fl6 it takes a few seconds before it starts to play when I press the button.
So you guys are in luck: these problems are fruity related.
And please guys: buy software it's not like fl studio is expansive or anything. I make software and it takes a lot of time and effort to make a quality product. Small companies like image-line can use every sale they can get
never had this problem with legal nor cracked soft, not fruity nor legacy. seems 2 me this has the symptoms of ASIO settings, latency or drivers.
(in a soft-sequencer, like cubase, reason or fruity, i never start the song at measure 1, 'cause linked programs or midi-instruments will always delay...)

could be but I have had this problem too with audigy2, m-audio ap fw and terratec x phase on different asio settings on their own asiodrivers and on asio4all... It seems it's only korg legacy that has this problem. It is especially annoying when you're rendering... I always move the whole pattern 4 beats to the right, and then I cut the sample to sync it.
Has anybody experienced some trouble with cpu that doesn't correspond to the effective cpu usage? I have a p4 3.4 ghz and sometimes in task manager the cpu goes to 60% while in FL it stays at 5-10%.
Yet another one: antares filter crashes FL6 sometimes, anybody else?
Some people on the FL fora are having the cpu indicator problem too, so I suppose they're working on it. FL 6 isn't bug free yet it seems, so you better wait on a later version. I'm back to FL 5 for the moment
And thanks for the tip on leaving one bar empty so all programs have time to sync, it really helps :)

in task manager the cpu goes to 60% while in FL it stays at 5-10%. that's a nasty side-effect in XP, all those tasks running underneath... (god, i wish SX and all that stuff could work under win98!) since i have only 512mb RAM, i sometimes put some tasks off (careful which ones though...). i really hate the "non-active systems" who are always indicating 99% usage! if u're using crackz, also try virus and trojan killerz on your music-pc even if it's not on the internet... there's a story that the latest crackz are often containing these and trying to acces the internet... they fill up your task-manager as u know...

Well, if your non-system usage is at 99%, that's actually good news :D It means you have 99% left to (ab)use! No, I know about antivirus, spyware, taskmanager & all that stuff... My pc is tweaked to perform. It is a fruity bug I'm afraid. Intask manager 60% (FL use only) and in fruity 5% and fluctuating, that's just wrong stuff... I can do without, especially live.
The fact that at 75% I hear cracks at 2480 samples buffersize on a p4 3.4ghz 1gig ram is even worse news to me. But I think that's a soundcarddriver issue. Anyway: seems that 6.0.8 solved these cpu-problems... I'm curious. If not, it's back to 5.02 for me. Love fl6 but can't live with cpu probs!
