Well, it sound very serious this website stuff... (and sorry for the slogan...i mean the thread tittle ;)) Maybe more serious than the myspace way... so for those who want try chance, just go on Sell a Band website !

www.sellaband.com is a website when people produce artist, a new way for kick ass of majors... and i believe in her concept, just try it, its free and no copyright-blured-laws problem !

hehe! apart from my doubts about the liveability of it, the concept is like the total fuck you to the traditional media: after "the public produces the content" (cq. myspace, youtube, flickr, etc.) we now have "the public pays for the distribution".

btw, i thought 'producing a band' meant recording/mixing/editing the band's music, not the distribution and promotion...

thats wath they say inside : all the producing process, mastering, mixing, cd conception and distribution, all for one year. After you take back all the rights for you. And you sign up your rights only if you get enough donations... not so bad...

but we still need 5000 "believers" who r willing to pay 10pleuro 8o .....if iam correct
