Demo-Night @ Comma
General discussionComma is organizing on 30 April 2004 a DEMO-night . All night long we're going to play and mix demo's. All the visual data as: cd-covers/photo's/websites of the artists will be projected on a large screen...so you'll know who & what is playing.
Next to the traditional rock & other bands we're also open too young electronic artists/bands. So participate!
• deadline for entrance is the 23th of April. • send us (if possible on CD-Rom) also a bit of visual material, for example: photo's, cd-cover, a short describing text, your website, quicktime-movie,... • The selection list of bands/artists will be on-line on the 23th of April.

A demo is a pre-recording of a song (before they get on a real cd). Mostly demo's are used for promotional use > artists/bands send their demo's to musiclabels, party-organisers,...
The list with all the bandnames are online! There are also some electronic bands & artists who did send their demo! Thx! Also a big thank you to the "j'e m'en fish" collective (great music!).

Well, the visuals we're ok > good reactions from the audience! Crowdie? Hmm, good be better > but no worries it was a succesfull try-out... new concepts have to grow (especially in Bruges) > so we're planning a second Demo-Night in the beginning of september.
More promotion=more demo's=more people=more fun! :D
So keep it in mind & prob we will see eachother again after the holidays!
