does anyone know if you can use midi through a network e.g. 2 networked pcs, both runnung a sequencer running in sync but not using midi cables is there some software to do this?

it's integrated in mac (check the audio/midi-settings in "hulpprogramma's"), and there excists a program for pc, but i forgot the name (it's somewhere in the topic about wireless syncing, started by liquidbass)

there is a way... on Mac...  but unfortunately appearantly not compatible with all softwares. I tried it with reason and it didnt work. Check this forum topic too:http://www.electrobel.be/forum/4/4976,0,0

This is near future music imo.  Collaborating will become very exciting in the near future.  Imagine sharing streaming audio and midi at 0ms latency thru networks incl. webcam & shard screens... Hold on tight...

dunno dude, just dreaming away here :)) But I am convinced that it's technically possible, but economically not a standard yet... (if you were referring to me that is)
