meakusma has achieved to put together a very special event at which three artists/bands will do an exclusive performance in Belgium. The main guests are none other than the San-Francisco-duo Matmos who will perform live their most recent masterpiece “The Rose Has Teeth In The Mouth Of A Beast”. This new album is a series of "sound portraits" of a pantheon of people that they admire. It's at once Matmos’s most melodic and most conceptual record and will be performed live together with Zeena Parkins. Furthermore, there will be Detroit-born Dabrye, a.k.a James T Cotton, Tadd Mulinix and Sk-1. Five years after his debut album, Dabrye has successfully produced a Hip-Hop album that has been recognised by both the Hip-Hop Underground scene and the Electronic Music magazines. Dabrye will be accompanied by MC Kadence at his European tour. The programme continues with Daniel Meteo from Berlin who will perform his debut album „Peruments“. The owner of label imprint Metesound and the other part of „Bus“, has managed to create in this new album a unique combination from elements of Dub / Downbeat, House and Soul. Last but not least, we have the pleasure of seeing Uské Orchestra perform his latest album „Niko et la Berlue“ (released on Sonig) live on stage.
