Hey everyone,
I was thinking of changing my very very very old midi keyboard (Target TRG-MK149) with something new and i must say i am astounding by the choice... I am lost in all these brands and choices... so i kinda need help / advice...
First this is about what i need A midi keyboard that i can connect to mixer using midi port and to my racks... i dont need it to have many controls, i will buy a seperate controller (the behringer BCR one looks nice). I need something light, of at least 49 preferably 61 keys and preferably hammered keys ! And finally it has to have at least some style !
I have browsed some stores and i can see brands like Behringer UMX Korg K E-MU X Board M-Audio Oxygen & keystation Novation ReMOTE LE, Edirol PC, Edirol Miditech Midistudion, Midiplus, Midistart, Midicontrol
and a few others...
I kinda like the Novation style and its also lightweight so interesting, and the keystation is the only one with hammered keys, but i still need advice because i dont know anything about midi keyboards.
Thanx for your help !
Cheers !
///// Right now i'm hesitating between buying Emu X Board, because there is a special offer and you recieve 3 softwares for free and the Novation, which is the most expensive and I really like the style.
But i think to decide i will test them at the store and buy the one that i fall more in love with :)
don t buy edirol after 1 year many keys were so unsensitive i had to fix that in ableton (fixed sensitivity at one level)
I have a novation keyboard and I'm very happy with it. The keys have a very good feel.
