General discussionjust checked my stats... i'm far from the most popular musician here, but i saw that many people check out my music but don't vote.
i've got 533 hits right now, and only 51 votes... or less than 10%.
is there a way to improve this? is there perhaps a way to reward the ones that vote? i mean: i try to reward them myself by voting music from people that voted mine, but maybe electrobel could do something here.

It's one of the principles here : people who want vote, it's one's choice. Now if you start rewarding people with votes just because they vote for you (besides how do you know who voted ? you only know who left a comment, which happens even more rarely), you'll get a run for votes which won't reflect the true quality of the tracks. I don't think many people here are likely to do that, but who knows ? If you want more votes, you simply have to become active on the forum, wall, etc.
i think it s fine as it is. perhaps the 90% that don't vote are not into your kind of music so they might not have a meaningful opinion about it. now if you force them to vote they might all vote thumbs down just coz it s not their style which doesn't help either hé...
i guess you're right.
i'm not campaigning for thumbs up or something, i just crave for some more knowledge on how people feel about music. i guess not leaving a comment is actually a comment in itself.
