tutorial on compresion
Help neededA very comprehensive tutorial on compression, that has helped me with understanding how a compressor exacly works. very handy for beginners but may give some extra depth to advanced producers aswel.

I knew most of the theory but that doesn't mean I'm a compression wizard. Compression is very hard to do. I just found out I need to compress my leads too in order to get the most out of them. :)) When I started using compressors I really only used them as limiters. But they can handle much more than that.
Nice visualisations in the tutorial btw. Thanks for sharing, I'd recommend this tutorial above others I think from now on.

Compression is indeed one of the hardest things to master, since you sometimes don't even hear much difference. Not like eq-ing when you mostly hear the sound palette change immediate.
