yes I have it, it is good

i'm using behringer BCR2000 (very good)

evolution mk249c (old n crappy keyboard)

m-audio triggerfinger (i m not very happy with the pads)

i wanted to buy this trigger finger. Why are you not satisfied with it? Did you try the akai mpd24, its also a pad controller.

i also have the behringer bcr2000 and i don't want to trade for the evolution because the evolution doesn't have endless rotatable potmeters with ledrings, which is really handy, and sometimes necessary with software (otherwise you'll have value-jumps when turning a knob after opening a new project). i'm searching for a fader-controller with touch sensitive faders (you kow, metal faders that feel when you touch them) to use with protool. i read about the macky HUI and BABY HUI, but those are more than 700 euro's :( also: if someone knows how you can use the bcr2000 with protools, tell me! it just doesn't work over here :(

And as for the advise, I recommend to go to a good music store and try some out :) You want the trigger pads to react good when you hit them. What I also like about the axiom is the rotary encoder knobs, they don't have an absolute begin and endposition. Just like the behringer above.

I'd like to buy this one someday both for studio (software) and live applications (to control additional parts on my main synth via midi).
