hey

i was wondering if someone who knows a little HTML and CSS could maybe give us some codes to put on myspace? u know just the basic stuff (like in those pimp my myspace pages) coz i mean those sites are cool n stuff but i really don't like the publicity links when u use their codes...and as i don't really know HTML and CSS every time i delete the links in the final code, the whole stuff just starts to bug...

cmon people would be nice if you shared your knowledge ;)

Actually what you can do is you use one pimp site (or preferably one of those 'easy myspace layout creators'), put everything that you want in one go (background colour, logo, pictures, slideshow, etc.) and then ask for the code.

You will almost always get sent the real code, and then some bogus rubbish of MSP links to that 'pimp my myspace' etc., but you just need to delete those 2 lines of code et voila, no more link to their junk, or their logo without you wanting it.

Putting logo's and pictures on myspace needs you to fix both width and length, so you need to play around with it a bit so they all fall well enough (500/334 works well most often for banners). But what codes you need, quicklinking youtube movies, pics, logo, slideshow, ...? There's a lot you can do of coding and myspace isn't all that good at handling it either :)

Yeah unfortunately most of those codes are smart enough to put themselves after the initial parts that you need for the desired effect, such as colour, size, etc.

I'm a bit surprised at how big your colour and background code is though; Changing those is relatively easy and shouldn't take up all that much space.
