General discussioni'm suffering from a musical writing block... i have not written any new song the last two months. 8(
on the plus side i have seen some good concerts and had time to listen to a lot of music.
anyway i have recorded a dj-mix consisting of only electrobel tracks. most of them can be found in the abstract hip-hop or the dub section, so expect downtempo-bassheavy-headnod-muisc.

I did a couple of electro mixes with ebel only tracks .. should do another one too ^^ (specially since i got a finalscratch now :D )

Great idea of making a mix with ebel tracks, and thanx for using one of my tracks, the download is in progress now so I can't wait to check it out,but I have full confidence in it!!! I have written 1 track the past 2 months but it maybe used for the soundtrack of a movie,that movie will come to the cinema in november and is called ' THE FLEMISH VAMPIRE' , a flemish-turkish vampire movie :)) ,which will be great,I do all the soundwork on it(as sound technician) I'll keep u guys informed and maybe for the next movie we could use some ebel tracks,who knows,I'll let u know

nice mix, heard lots of quality songs for the first time this way! cool how you use songs at a much lower speed than created. keep up the good work!! and thanks for using one of mine..
i got a few PM's asking me how it was mixed...
it is done in Ableton Live 4.0 using 3 audio tracks.

all tracks are warped before hand so the tempos will fit.
after trying a few combinations and establishing a basic order in wich i would play the tracks i just hit record and start a track, cue it and drop it in... as you can see i used almost all tracks from beginning to the end, some times three tracks at once are playing...
i used no effects at all or looped any of the tracks, i only used the volume sliders to mix it, even no eq. when used to its full potential i think the posibilities are huge.
once you get the warping right mixing with ableton is piss easy!
maybe one day when i practiced a bit more i will wreite a more in dept tutorial on djing with ableton for the library section.
