With the possibility of 3 songs per person, I think the number of songs to vote on will be too large and will diminish the quality of the votes...

i think 3 songs max is a good compromise...
with the "concrete music" contest there was no limitation aswell and there were 30+ tracks and still voting was no problem.
yip, i'd prefer to see one song per artist , i can imagine there'll be quarreling about it's not fair that artist x has 3 times more the chance to win than artist y, not that it would really bother me, but 3 is just a bit much no?

personally i don't mind to listen to all tracks, but i've noticed people can be lazy....
agree with mik, for me only 1 song per user, so the artist will have no other choice than work and perfect his song ... !
I dont think that much people wanted the possibility to have more than one song. Imagine the fruity contest if everyone posted 3 songs? 60 entries? If people really want to post more than one song they still can create an Internet alter ego :p try a poll maybe! I know I wouldnt vote if there was too much song..

sure its fair, every track has as much chance to win!
I dont think its a question of fairness, more problem of logistics (votes, and keep the quality up so listeners dont stop after a few songs!). Surely one can create as many dark songs for the contest , but you should be able to select the best one and not "spam" the contest with three songs, some which ultimately will be of lesser quality and let down people. Besides, Satan would not need three songs to win the contest!
