are there any good tutorials on mix down? video, text and about special and advanced mixing techniques mostly I find excerpts of mix down tutorials, witch is frustrating to watch. thx in advance ^^

thanks dude , i already knew them both, but it's nice to see them again. imo i was watching andivax, waaay to early, and was overhauled by words I didn't realy understand at that time. sflogicninja's funny, amusing to watch

Not free, but the best tutorial i've ever seen! This guy is a TOTAL freak!!!! :) I've bought these with a couple of guys together, but best investment of the year.

I dunno if it helps. But the best tutorial is trial and error. And the best way to do that is get a nice compressor, get a nice limiter (Kjaerhus really rocks for that instance and is totally free). Pick a CD with a song (where the sound really kicks your ass or makes you shiver) and just try to get the same! It worked for me. No tutorials at all and I'm a schooled Social Worker so no audio masterclass either. all self thaught!

yeah, that is treu. very good advice, but sometimes a little help doesn't hurt.

Must be honest I tried that too (video tutorials) but all I got is this classic Highschool standard sound (and I really hated it). So I threw it all overboard and began tweaking myself! But offcorse that's just my opinion. My help came in the form of a guud friend who thaught me some tricks and I began building upon that!! His name is Anaesthesia and he's on E-bel as well. Need any advice ask him!
