I don't know if this is the right section for this but hey, here it is :
In every music genre there is a chart ( example : top dub ) My question, what makes a track score high in these charts? I noticed that there are songs that have more good votes and comments than others, but are ranked lower, how come?
What does it take for a song to top the charts?
this has been a question for about a million times (sorry to say so.. maybe it even figures in the FAQ-list): short answer as far as I'm informed: some obscure and wicked formula invented by some obscure and wicked host that calculates the position of the song on a number of obscure and wicked criteria, such as number of votes, number of comments (good and bad!) and the number of downloads, all in function of time on the net and some other obscure and wicked criteria...
