8bit geluidjes? :o
Help neededbasically it all comes to this, anyone feel like making a chiptune tutor? :p or just explain how you exactly make a chiptune sounD? with analog synths or is their a different method like when rendering instead of 16 bit take 8 bit ? i have absolutely no idea, vandaar dus deze thread, thx op voor hand :p

I don't think rendering options can create those chiptune sounds, but if i'm not wrong there is software to create music like that, based on nintendo software...
On hardware synths: dunno, buy a c64, it's got a sidsynth in it ;)
On vsti:
- Quadrasid
- Quantum 64
- Vanguard (can do some nice sidsounds too).
What is it with this 8 bit sounds hype anyway? What's so good about it plz explain. Some sounds are indeed cool but rendering at 8 bit, complete sidtunes?? That means no bass, annoying midbass sounds and people running away screaming for help with bleedy ears. :D
try using the toad and the peach...really cool vsts
HERE you can find those 2 vsts plus some others really cool to make 8bit sounds
In Reason you can easily do that with the Scream4 distortion unit. Also the Malström provides functions to do that.
